Yo Ho Yo Ho 2 more days to go!!!

"On the 6th day , we woke up from 3 very loud crows that squaked at 6 in the morning!!! We did watch and lessons on the boat then had special 'Cheese Balls Saturday' We docked at Crisfield (the crab capital of the world) and went to a museaum and saw a puffer fish! Jose bought a red crab hat (HAHA!!!) that looks ridiculous but we had to promise not to bug him about buying candy. Then we went to the campsite and had pizza bagels. Then we went to bed.

HHJ says- I've really connected with my student crew.... all it cost me was my dignity and a $10 pipecleaner hat :-) We all recovered from those jelly stings because we're the rough n tough pirate crew of the Belle. PS... We've really learned to accept out doors gourmet like ziplock bag omletes and the post-dessert tongue-powered-rinse method. Meanwhile.. MORE MESSAGES! One final word... after 7 days.. your kiddos finally brought out your cameras and took their first pictures. But the LCF crew and I have hmmm the other 7 days covered :-)

Hey hope everyone is having a blast. So the question of the day is so what do you think of the eastern shore skeeters? Just think Hookem Tim lives with them. If I would have known you were in Cristfield I would have brought you guys a Smith Island Cake. Well keep posting the blogs we look forward to all the updates. See ya soon

Hi Morgan (& everyone else),

Ouch! I've never been stung by a jellyfish, and it sounds like something I wouldn't want to do! I'm glad you're all so tough that a little jellyfish sting doesn't bother you.

Everyone here misses you Morgan & we got your report card - but, haven't opened it as per your instructions. Eddie faired OK on the fourth, he waited out the fireworks under my blanket. Peanut & Jelly are doing fine, as well.

We can't wait to talk to you again on Tuesday evening. We'll be going to the movies so call us after 9:30.

We love you,
All of us!

Hi Anna,

I can't believe you only have 2 more days on the boat -- has the time flown by for you? I imagine so since it sounds like you're all having a great adventure and your days are packed. Jose and the crew have really kept you busy, huh? Doesn't sound like anyone will have to walk the plank before this voyage ends!

This will be our last blog post. Dad and I are going to Fire Island tomorrow evening but we'll call you on Tuesday about 9:30 -- or you can call our cell phones. Even parents should get to go to the beach, right? Can't wait to talk on the phone again with you.

Watch for mail and packages when you're back on shore. Jim and Sue say hi!

Love,
Mom & Dad

Hey Jonathan,
Jelly fish stings? Huh, bet they aren't as bad as the ones we got at Habonim!
Hope you are having a good time.
We all miss you specially Daniel.

The time is getting short. Taste that crab! Support the watermen! When will be the next time you get a chance to eat a crab you caught yourself???

Grandma is getting better and has been walking around.

I rescued two toads from the pool. Found a snake in the bench where we keep the chlorine tabs, and disturbed a toad who was living under the step up to the deck. Don't know if any snakes or other creatures have moved into the snake house in the corner of the garden.

(Dad writing this time.) Sorry to hear about the jellyfish stings. Not exactly the perfect end to a fun experience. Although I am impressed by how everyone handled the bad weather on the Fourth. You guys are a stalwart group of pirates. I can’t wait to see the pictures that have been taken so far.

You must explain the concept of zip-lock bag omelets. It sounds interesting. The first week has gone by very quickly for us. How has it been for you? Too soon back to shore, I bet.

I miss you whole bunch Mustang Morgan and I am really looking forward to seeing you soon and going on vacation together. Mom promises it will be fun.

Got to run now. Work to do.

I love you sweetheart. Talk to you on Tuesday.

Dad (with an assist from Mom, Jonathan, Eddie and the ton of fish)

Hello Pirates!

John,

Sounds like you are keeping busy. I wonder if the "After Bite" bug stuff would work on jelly fish bites? OUCH!

Bet you are looking forward to hot showers and comfy beds in the dorms...

Anne is hosting a sleep-over on Saturday night, so you probably wouldn't want to be here!

Looking forward to seeing some of your pictures. Be sure to include one of HHJ in his new hat!

Love you and miss you,
Mom
